Genius' Among Us

Genius Hour. Even though Google initiative and way of operating, this too can be infused into the Media Center. The students will fall in LOVE with learning. It serves as a platform for teaching content and skills. I have done this in the classroom as a classroom teacher and now in the Media Center with the two schools I serve. The students cheer when I show up at their classroom to bring them into the Media Center for Genius Hour. In fact today, a student ranked me higher than recess and PE. Those of you in the Elementary Education world, know this is HUGE! Become a Genius and give this a go!
